Orchestra Lunch Announcement

Dear Orchestra Students,

I regret to inform you that, effective immediately, students will no longer be allowed to eat lunch in the orchestra room.  Additionally, the fine arts hall way, practice rooms, chorus room, band room, and any other area will all off limits during lunch periods. Students who break the rules by loitering in any area will be issued discipline referrals.

The circumstances of this decision are out of my control and I am very sorry to be the bearer of this news. I understand how much the lunchtime collegiality means to many of you and that “tradition” of orchestra lunch is something that you value. I will talk to you regarding this in person while in class, but wanted to let you know now so that you could plan accordingly.  Again, I am sorry to have to tell you this, but I hope you will be understanding.

Respectfully,

Dr. Laux
